REPORTS TO: Golf & Grounds Superintendent
SUMMARY:
As part of a team, complete course maintenance under specific guidelines. Perform outstanding guest service on a daily basis. Interact on a daily basis with guests and resort staff.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Turf-related education preferred.
- Landscape experience preferred.
- Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
- Operate walking equipment in mowing greens collars and tees.
- Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
- Operate mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Operates sod cutter, trencher and tamper for routine projects.
- Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
- Clean equipment after use to keep in good working order.
- Foster positive working relationships and communication with all departments.
- Any and all other duties as assigned.
EXPECTATIONS:
- The employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to fulfill these functions. Ruttger’s further expects every employee to exhibit stellar guest service and a regular attendance record.
- Must be able to pass Ruttger’s background check;
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Stand; walk; sit; kneel; lift; push; pull; reach with arms and hands; move objects weighing up to forty (40) pounds.
