Job Description
Incumbent assists in the implementation of programs and record keeping for the proper maintenance and operation of the golf car fleet; assists in employee selection, hiring, and training of golf support staff. He/She is under supervision and has limited responsibilities for reports or records, and decisions are made on a routine level. The employee has little contact with the public and has no supervisory responsibilities. Must abide by all safety rule and regulations. Job Responsibilities
1.Assists in the overall maintenance and operation of the golf car fleet.
2.Inspects golf car fleet on a daily basis and performs basic repairs necessary for safe and reliable operation of each unit.
3.Assists in the implementation of the established preventative maintenance programs and routine safety checks.
4.Assists with the record keeping of the maintenance performed to the different car fleet units.
5.Instructs golfers on the proper and safe use of the golf car, provides scorecards and pencils.
6.Washes car body, wipes seats, cleans floor mats, removes trash.
7.Performs safety checks, delivers loads and returns the cars after customer use.
8.Maintains clean cart building and work area.
9.Picks up flags, water coolers and driving range equipment at the conclusion of each day.
10.Assists in the daily collection of driving range balls as well as varied duties related to the daily operation of the Golf Course's driving range.
11.Provides custodial services when necessary.
12.Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Minimum Requirement - 1. An accredited high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
2. One (1) year of work experience is preferred.
3. Job requires a valid Texas Class C Drivers License.
4. Must have minor mechanical skills, understanding of electrical golf car functions and basic golf course knowledge. Physical Requirements
1. Job requires lifting up to 50 pounds.
2. Job involves standing and walking from place to place and working in outdoor conditions with adequate lighting and ventilation. Additional Information
1. This position is safety sensitive and may be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
2. This position has no supervisory responsibilities over others.
