*GOLF SHOP ASSOCIATE* *Hourly wage plus commissions* *Reports To: *First Assistant *Needed: Must be available to work weekends. Other days may be available as needed. * *General Description of Duties and Responsibilities* * Proven track record of excellent Customer Service skills required. * Retail and/or Merchandising experience is preferred. * Responsible to continually monitor, implement, and adhere to all company goals, policies, procedures, and controls. * Assist with checking in golfers and maintain a properly functioning tee sheet and pace of play. * Assist with receiving merchandise and adhere to purchase order procedures. * Assist with the rotation of shop displays. * Maintain an organized stock room and assist the buyer and other shop assistants with stock and golf shop cleanliness. * Conducts monthly inventory counts under the direction of the Head Professional. * Perform other duties as requested by management. * Provide service in any and every way. Go the extra mile to provide the standard of service guests expect. *Experience / Education / Certification Requirements* * High School education or its equivalent. * Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language. * *Must have a current valid Nevada driver’s license* *Physical Requirements* * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. * Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping. * Exposure to hot and cold temperatures. * Must be able to stand for extended periods. * Repetitive motion required including computer entry. * Must be able to operate a golf cart in a safe manner. * Normal vision and hearing required. Job Types: Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 – 29.0 per week Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Henderson, NV 89011: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
