*Job Summary:* We are looking for a friendly, reliable and organized *General Manager* to oversee the day-to-day operations of our indoor golf facility. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, organizing events and keeping things running smoothly. *Pay:* $23.50/hour *Term:* 6-month position, with the possibility of extending longer depending on summer events and business needs. *Responsibilities include:* * Overseeing daily facility operations and providing excellent customer service * Coordinating and running Men’s Night, Ladies Night, leagues and special events * Planning tournaments, group bookings and other facility events * Training and onboarding new employees * Supporting staff scheduling and providing sick-call coverage when required * Managing inventory, including ordering supplies, beverages, merchandise and other facility needs * Restocking and ensuring inventory levels are maintained * Handling customer questions, bookings and day-to-day issues * Maintaining a clean, organized and welcoming facility * Supporting promotions and helping grow leagues, events and overall facility usage We’re looking for someone who is *dependable, personable, comfortable taking initiative and able to work independently*. Some evening and weekend availability will be required. *Qualifications:* * Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, recreation, retail or a supervisory role is preferred * Strong communication and people skills * Reliable, organized and able to work independently * Comfortable supervising staff and handling day-to-day issues as they arise * Able to coordinate leagues, events and group bookings * Basic computer skills and ability to learn booking/POS systems * Comfortable handling cash and completing basic administrative tasks * Able to work evenings and weekends as required * Interest in golf is an asset, but *golf experience is not required* * Must be willing to jump in and help with everything from customer service to restocking and facility upkeep * Food Safe Certification * Serving it Right Certification. * Reliable transportation. *Physical Requirements:* * Ability to stand for extended periods of time. * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. * Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
