Job Title: General Manager
Company Overview: Badlands Golf Company is a members-only golf course offering a 9-hole, par 3 course, food and beverages and a relaxed atmosphere. We also host events for members and non-members and offer night golfing to the public from sunset to 11 PM daily.
Job Summary: As the General Manager at Badlands, you will oversee all operations to maximize revenue and ensure a great experience for members and guests. You will manage the Golf Course, the Pro Shop, and Food and Beverage areas. You will engage with customers, staff, members, guests, and the ownership team.
Responsibilities:
Supervise Pro Shop and hospitality staff to ensure daily / weekly tasks are performed.
Create staff schedules to fully serve members and guests while controlling labor costs.
Communicate daily and weekly activities to staff for smooth operations.
Schedule & co-ordinate the maintenance crew, facility and equipment.
Attend weekly meetings with ownership and provide status updates.
Monitor inventory levels for food and beverages; coordinate with vendors / partners for ordering requirements.
Assist members and guests with inquiries, bookings, and information about the golf course.
Coordinate and oversee events, tournaments, and special occasions hosted at the golf course.
Actively seek out event and membership opportunities to drive growth.
Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of dining areas, restrooms, and public spaces.
Upholding safety and sanitary guidelines.
Assist in serving food and beverages.
Enforce club policies, rules, and regulations.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field required.
Experience with retail and food and beverage POS systems required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Knowledge of golf or experience working at a golf course is a plus, but not required.
