Golf Club Manager Duties
- oversee all operations of the club
- hire employees and make sure they have adequate training and/or experience to do their jobs well
- oversee course superintendent, golf professional, and bookkeeper
- liaison with restaurant operator for golf outings, events, and beverage cart schedule
- monitor how the staff members in each area are performing, as well as how guests feel about their experiences at the golf club, and take action to improve service or conditions as needed
- increasing revenues and membership
- marketing and booking events
- responsibility for the golf club's budget by working with staff and the board of directors and then allocating where needed
- build the capital improvement fund
- bachelor's degree in business management, hospitality or administration, and courses of study specifically in managing golf courses, including courses in finance and/or accounting
- experience working for a golf club
Pay: $68,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed
