Seven Lakes Golf & Tennis is a large, gated condominium community and is seeking a full-time Golf Course Groundskeeper; this is an entry level position and is under the direction of the Director of Golf Course Maintenance. Listed below are the positions responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Experience of prior grounds or lawn maintenance experience at a golf course is a plus.
PHYSICAL / EMOTIONAL DEMANDS:
Strenuous outdoor labor required year-round. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be physically capable of shoveling, raking, bending, stooping, etc., on a daily basis. Must efficiently operate large mowers, weed-eaters, chainsaws, etc.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Health, dental, and vision insurances are offered after 90 days. Seven Lakes is a drug-free workplace; a valid driver’s license is required.

- Sets cups and pins, places tee markers, maintains ball washers, and removes trash from the golf course cans.
- Weedeat lake edges, edges cart paths, tree beds, and yardage markers.
- Trims, prunes, and shapes small trees and shrubs/ornamental grasses.
- Rakes and maintains traps.
- Pulls weeds, mulches, pinestraw, and fertilizing various plants and turfs.
- Assists in special projects and repairs as necessary.
- Mowing areas on the golf course as trained.
- Other related duties as required or requested.
- Willing to work weekends.
