About the role

Muirfield Golf Club Ltd is a traditional, member-owned golf club with a 70 year storied history. Our 18-hole golf course is a parkland style course, cut into tree-lined fairways, with a challenging, but rewarding layout. The Club has plans to re-develop in the coming years, and this will be an exciting time for course staff as they help to reinvigorate the golf course. About the role
As a Golf Course Groundsperson at Muirfield Golf Club Ltd, you will play a vital role in maintaining the pristine condition of our Members golf course. This is a full-time position based in North Rocks, NSW 2151, where you will be responsible for a range of golf course maintenance duties to ensure our members and guests can enjoy an exceptional golfing experience.
What you'll be doing
- Mowing, edging and maintaining the fairways, greens, tees and rough to the highest standard
- Undertaking irrigation system maintenance and monitoring
- Performing fertilising, seeding, aerating and top-dressing tasks to enhance turf health and appearance
- Identifying and treating weeds, pests and diseases to preserve the course's visual appeal and playing conditions
- Assisting with the upkeep of landscaping features such as flower beds, shrubs and trees
- Providing support for special events and tournaments as required
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
- Proven experience in golf course or sports turf maintenance, preferably gained in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of turf management practices, including mowing, irrigation, fertilisation and pest/disease control
- Ability to operate and maintain a range of grounds care equipment, such as mowers, trimmers and sprayers
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A valid driver's licence is preferred but not essential
