Oatlands Golf Club is looking to recruit a Qualified Greenkeeper as a Third In Charge to assist in the management of the day to day operations of the Club's Course department.

Oatlands is one of Sydney's premier private golf clubs located just 5 minutes away from the Parramatta CBD. The golf course is currently one of the best in the area and this role would see the successful candidate join a motivated and knowledgeable team.
The Role
We are seeking a qualified and suitably experienced Greenkeeper to assist with the daily management of the course maintenance program, working with a staff/team of 12 to implement the strategies and plans as directed by management. The focus of our business is our Members and we are seeking a team player to assist in delivering a fantastic golfing experience. This role requires flexible work hours and weekend work.
4th year apprentices looking to take the next step and fast-track their careers are encouraged to apply.

Expectations:
The successful applicant will preferably possess:
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of turf management, horticulture, machinery and irrigation.
- Formal Qualifications with a Certificate IV in Sports Turf Management (or equivalent) a minimum.
- Experience in the application of chemicals on playing surfaces (AQF3).
- Strong attention to detail
- Current driver's license
- Previous experience at a Golf Club is preferred but not essential.
