We are positioned on the beautiful Sunshine Coast and have officially re-opened. We are seeking a positive and enthusiastic Golf Course Greenkeeper to form part of a vital role with the agronomy of the course.
We are looking for qualified turf professionals with a passion for golf. You will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the golf course, assist with irrigation, and maintaining equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to thrive in a highly focused and rewarding work environment at our premier 5-star golf course. This Full-time position offers an above award salary depending on qualifications/experience and will require occasional weekend work.

Ideally you will have:-
- Certificate III Sports Turf Management is essential;
- A solid understanding of golf course maintenance and horticulture with a minimum of three years experience;
- A good understanding of Irrigation Systems;
- Good mechanical knowledge;
- High attention to detail and organisation skills;
- Ability to be proactive working part of a team and autonomously;
- Knowledge WHS Practices and Procedures;
- Current chemical ACDC Accreditation with a solid understanding of chemicals including insecticides, herbicides and application there of;
- Current C Class Drivers licence.
- Bunker, rough, fairway and general Golf Course maintenance;
- Watering greens, tees, and fairways and Irrigation maintenance;
- Operating Machinery and ensuring safe and efficient operation of machinery, including mowing equipment;
- Pest identification and control;
- Thoroughly assist in all safety training needs and procedures;
- Work with the Superintendent and other team members to constantly improve the golf course, club grounds, maintenance facility and safety programs;
- Assisting with the setup of Golf Course for competition rounds and general play;
- The ability to work full time hours, including weekends on a rotating roster as needed.
