About Us
Set amongst 18 hectares of native trees you will find the Nedlands Golf Club, idyllically nestled between the Perth CBD, the Beach and the Swan River. A welcoming, relaxed and inclusive club, Nedlands is a private 9 hole championship layout with 800 members, and around 35,000 rounds of golf played each year.
We are looking to employ a full-time apprentice greenkeeper to complement our team.
Your Mandate
Ideally the successful applicant will be a second-year apprentice reporting directly to the Course Superintendent.
We are looking for someone passionate to develop their knowledge in the industry, be proactive and be an important component of our team. The position will be responsible for assisting all aspects of golf course maintenance and will work alongside key experienced staff members.

Essential Skills and Duties
- Operating various types of machinery involved in maintaining a golf course
- Operating handheld machinery such as brush cutters, edgers, blowers and chainsaws etc
- Responsible for cleaning and maintenance of sprinklers and assisting the team
- Assist greenkeepers with all maintenance and labour involved with producing an immaculate golf course
- Golf Course setup
- Commencement of relevant Turf Management qualifications.
- The ability to work with others in a team environment
- High level of integrity and dependability
- Golfing experience and knowledge will be helpful, but not mandatory
- The position is fulltime and requires ability to work weekends
- Remuneration will be set based on a competitive industry standard depending on candidates’ skills and experience.
