Are you a qualified Greenkeeper wanting to join our team at the Links Golf Course?

Shellharbour City Council have an exciting opportunity for a skilled, experienced and qualified Greenkeeper to join the team at The Links, Shell Cove. As a key member of our course maintenance team, this position will primarily be responsible for the maintenance and presentation of the golf course and surrounding areas including our mini golf precinct, practice range and the clubhouse.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Be a collaborative, motivated and supportive individual who thrives working within a team
• Takes personal pride in the presentation of their work and responsibilities
• Deliver excellent customer service when engaging with customers
• Be a supportive team player with the ability to be flexible to work various shifts including weekends, evenings and public holidays as required
• Assist in establishing, maintaining and improving playing surfaces
• Provide guidance to apprentices, labourers and work experience employees
• Maintain the facilities equipment and working spaces with a high level of care
• Have a passion for the industry; turf maintenance, golf or both
• Have completed a Certificate III Sports Turf Management.

• Permanent full time, 38 hours per week worked over four and a half days
• May include opportunity to work weekends, evenings and public holidays based on operational requirements
• Commencing salary range from $63,265.28 - $67,137.72 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
