Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the daily operations of golf course maintenance, including turf management, landscaping, irrigation systems, and tree care.
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs to ensure healthy turf, vibrant landscaping, and well-maintained facilities.
- Oversee landscape maintenance projects such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control to uphold aesthetic standards.
- Manage irrigation systems efficiently to optimize water use while maintaining optimal course conditions.
- Supervise a team of groundskeepers and maintenance personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate construction projects related to course improvements or facility upgrades with contractors and internal teams.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during maintenance activities and uphold high standards of course quality.
- Proven experience in supervising landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or golf course management roles.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture practices including tree care, gardening, turf management, and soil health.
- Hands-on experience with irrigation systems, construction projects, and general maintenance operations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations related to landscaping and land use practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in project planning and execution.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members, contractors, and stakeholders about project goals and safety procedures.
