*Overview* Join our vibrant golf club team as a Barback and become a vital part of delivering exceptional hospitality experiences! In this energetic role, you'll support our bartenders and service staff by ensuring the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and ready to serve. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests can relax, enjoy great drinks, and have memorable moments. This paid position offers fantastic tips and opportunities to grow within the hospitality industry! *Duties* * Assist bartenders by restocking alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware swiftly and efficiently to keep service flowing smoothly * Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, including cleaning counters, sinks, glassware, and bar equipment in accordance with food safety standards * Buss tables and clear empty dishes to ensure a tidy environment for guests and staff * Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and moving kegs or crates safely * Support food service operations by assisting with food prep, plating, or delivery when needed * Ensure compliance with all food handling, safety protocols, and alcohol service regulations at all times * Use POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with cash handling or order processing when required *Skills* * Proven experience in food service, bar, or restaurant environments; nightclub or banquet experience is a plus * Strong knowledge of bar cleaning, food handling, and beverage service procedures * Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests * Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and inventory counts accurately * Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cashiering tasks * Experience in catering or hotel food service environments is advantageous * Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and handle manual handling tasks safely Join us if you're passionate about hospitality!
