Burnley Golf Course Greenkeeper
Property and Leisure Branch
Temporary - Full Time - 29 April 2024 to 28 October 2024
Band 3 - $63,316.58 - $68,504.94 (pro-rata + superannuation) + RDO (RDO applicable to 38 hours per week only)
The Property and Leisure Branch is responsible for the management, planning and development of Recreation, Leisure and Sporting assets for residents, workers and visitors to the City.
An Exciting opportunity at Burnley Golf Course is available to someone that motivated, enthusiastic, team and task focused. Under the guidance of the Head Greenkeeper, the successful applicant will be responsible for the turf maintenance of the nine-hole Burnley Golf Course.

An Exciting opportunity at Burnley Golf Course is available to someone that motivated, enthusiastic, team and task focused. Under the guidance of the Head Greenkeeper, the successful applicant will be responsible for the turf maintenance of the nine-hole Burnley Golf Course.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Assist the head greenkeeper (HG) in all areas of golf course maintenance, procedures and operations including the maintaining of greens, tees, fairways, rough, surrounds and all areas associated with the golf course. These tasks may include, but are not limited to mowing, brush cutting, spraying, course renovations, course construction, drainage and bunker maintenance.

Assist with the operation of automatic and manual irrigation systems, repairs and maintenance of those systems.
Assist in the maintenance and good working order of all plant and machinery through cleaning, repairing and maintenance.
Actively foster good relations with golfing public, members and the Pro Shop team to encourage quality customer service.
Maintain a neat and professional appearance in accordance with Yarra Leisure uniform policy.
Promptly follow up on all golf course maintenance tasks and respond in accordance with Yarra Leisure service standards.
Perform other duties as directed by the Head Greenkeeper & Facility Coordinator.
