Golf Course Foreman
San Juan Oaks Golf Club has built a reputation over the years as one of the top golfing experiences in Northern California. In anticipation of a 1000 home master planned adult living community, the grounds and facilities closed for a renovation project in late 2021. After two years of planning and construction, the golf course is slated to open later in 2023. The final product from the renovation will include a new clubhouse featuring a state-of-the-art golf shop, multiple F&B outlets and a fully re-grassed and re-imagined course. Excitement and opportunity await at San Juan Oaks.
This position requires a passion for agronomy & attention to detail. This is a unique experience to be part of a new golf course from grow in to opening day. The Foreman will play an integral role in the success of the club
Essential Duties:
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).

Essential Duties:
- Prepares soil for planting beds and lawn areas.
- Operates mechanical equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers and utility vehicles.
- Plants trees, shrubs, turf grass and flowers.
- Prunes and trims trees and shrubs.
- Maintains a clean landscape environment through trash removal and debris cleanup.
- Maintains landscape through application of mulch, water, fertilizer and grooming.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.

- Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather); near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles, with toxic or caustic chemicals. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.
- Occasionally experiences vibration. Noise level is moderate.
- Valid Driver’s License
