Course Foreman
Situated in Melbourne’s outer south-east alongside and crossing Cardinia Creek, this scenic 18 hole clay based golf course is home to over 550 Members, a large number of green fee players and hosts over 40,000 rounds per year.
The club requires the services of an experienced greenskeeper who is looking to take the next step in their career pathway, supporting the Course Superintendent and working with our small team in maintaining and improving our turf surfaces and surrounds.
This position is ideal for a motivated and energetic person who can both apply their experiences and develop further into a senior leadership role, with a long-term vision to becoming a Course Superintendent themselves.

Duties Include
Maintenance of all turf areas on the Course to a high standard, inclusive of greens, tees, surrounds, bunkers, fairways, roughs and out of play areas
Work with the Golf Course Superintendent to help promote player satisfaction through maintaining a quality Golf Course and Maintenance program
Carry out turf renovation, including scarifying, coring, de-thatching and sanding as required
Responsibility for delivery of all Maintenance and Operating Projects
Works with Golf Course Superintendent and other Course Team members to constantly improve the golf course, club grounds, maintenance facility and all safety programs
Thoroughly assist in all safety training needs and procedures
Continues personal and professional Educational through attending self-development, training and Turf Conferences
Help schedule and supervise the daily operations and work requirements of the Course Maintenance staff
Train, motivate and supervise the staff in a capable manner
Experience and Requirements
Certificate 3 in Sports Turf Management or higher
Experience in all aspects of Golf Course maintenance
Be competent with wide range of turf machinery
Experience and knowledge of chemical and fertiliser application
Knowledge of drainage control methods
Experience with irrigation systems
Be hard working and physically fit for manual work
