Job Summary A upmarket Golf Course in the Overberg region is requiring a professional and highly organized Golf Reservations & Events Coordinator. The successful candidate will assist with the daily operations of individual and group golf bookings. This role focuses on administrative precision, guest interaction, and the co-ordination of on-site events. In addition you will ensure that all reservations and payment allocations are handled accurately while delivering a high standard of service to all guests. Key Responsibilities 1. Golf Reservations & Event Coordination Reservations: Assist with all individual and group golf reservations, ensuring data is captured accurately within the system. Event Coordination: Coordinate the hosting of group events, providing on-site support to ensure everything runs smoothly according to the client's needs. Sales & Marketing: Maximize golf sales and marketing opportunities within the hotel's established policies and standards. Standards: Work as part of a team or individually to deliver high-quality standards in all guest interactions. 2. Administration & Financial Support Data Integrity: Proficiency in OPERA (PMS) is required to accurately capture data and maintain guest profiles. Financial Admin: Assist with payment allocations and general administrative duties. Financial experience is considered advantageous. Organization: Execute planning and organizing tasks with a heavy focus on administrative detail and accuracy. 3. Client Interaction & Communication Etiquette: Maintain excellent verbal and written English communication skills, specifically regarding email and telephone etiquette. Guest Relations: Interact with clients in person in a presentable and professional manner. Conflict Handling: Apply good conflict-handling skills to manage reservation-related queries or issues. Candidate Requirements: Matric (NQF4) is a minimum requirement. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position. Hotel / Tourism Diploma or Further Education is advantageous. Technical Skill: Proficiency in OPERA (PMS) is essential. Professionalism: Presentable, self-disciplined, and possesses strong time management skills. Numeracy: Good numeracy skills for handling administrative financial tasks. Logistics: Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle. Residency: Must reside in Hermanus, Kleinmond, or Botriver.
