Emerald Lakes Golf Club is a privately owned establishment located in the heart of the Gold Coast only 7km from Surfers Paradise and 25mins from Gold Coast Airport.

The club is a leading golf industry establishment, featuring an 18-hole Par-72 Graham Marsh designed golf course, comprehensive practice facilities, a coaching centre, and an 18-hole mini golf. Additionally, it boasts a highly successful food, beverage, and gaming operation, complimented by a fully equipped pro shop.

Emerald Lakes Golf Club is seeking the appointment of a Golf Course Equipment Technician to join our dynamic team.

The Golf Course Equipment Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Golf Course machinery, ensuring that all machinery is in optimal working condition.



Key Responsibilities


  • Execute routine maintenance and repairs on various golf course machinery, including mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and small engines
  • Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses for the sourcing of spare parts to minimise breakdown times
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
  • Oversee inventory management of spare parts and supplies
  • Ensure all machinery adheres to safety standards


Necessary Qualifications & Experience


  • Trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in the maintenance and repair of turf equipment and machinery
  • Proficiency in working with small engines
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license and access to own vehicle


This role is a full-time, 40 hour per week salaried position with 5am starts a requirement of the position, but flexible working days/hours would be considered for suitably qualified candidates.
