Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club, located in Bonita Springs, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Golf Course Equipment Operator! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Responsibilities: Operates motorized vehicles Maintains clean and organized works areas on the golf course and maintenance facility Mows greens, aprons, fairways, roughs, tees, and other areas Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as needed Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds Applies pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to the golf course Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Golf course maintenance experience preferred, but not required Must possess the ability design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course Working knowledge of the tools, methods and materials used in grounds and landscaped area construction and maintenance work Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations Ability to give oral and written instructions Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation Must be dependable Benefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms: Healthcare Benefits – Medical (if determined by the ACA measurement) Retirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older) Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.
