*Job Summary* We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Golf Course Equipment Maintenance Technician to keep our golf course machinery and equipment operating at peak performance. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of golf course equipment, including mowers, trimmers, utility vehicles, and power generation systems. Your expertise will ensure that the course remains in excellent condition, providing a seamless experience for players and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills in a dynamic outdoor environment while contributing to the overall quality of the golf course. *Responsibilities* * Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all golf course equipment, including small engines, mowers, and power tools. * Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools. * Repair or replace engine components such as diesel engines, generators, and other mechanical systems with precision and efficiency. * Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on equipment systems, ensuring safety standards are met. * Utilize hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and mechanical knowledge to perform repairs accurately. * Assist with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of equipment parts and machinery components. * Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, and schedules for upcoming maintenance tasks. *Experience* * Proven dealership or service technician experience working with automotive or heavy machinery is highly preferred. * Strong background in diesel engine repair, electrical work, and equipment troubleshooting. * Familiarity with schematics, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical systems repair is essential. * Experience with small engine maintenance, generator repair, and power generation systems is advantageous. * Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and performing vehicle or equipment maintenance tasks. * Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately to diagnose issues efficiently. * Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to manual handling protocols.
