Golf Simulator Designer (** this is an in-person, Atlanta-based role**)

This position will specialize in creating state-of-the-art virtual golf experiences for commercial and residential properties through on-site visits with clients and utilization of design rendering software.

Job Description:

Our Golf Simulator Designer will be responsible for the start-to-finish golf simulator process.
  • Discovery - connect with clients in their spaces to discover what type of golf simulator is best for them; includes review of build plans for new construction or remodel environements.
  • Design - create design concepts (using industry design software of your choice), establish a project budget, and help clients to make the final simulator equipment selections for installation from your proposals.
  • Integration - the on-site build out and installation of the golf simulator that includes an enclosure, hit screen, projector, and launch monitors. Confirming the excellence of installation, quality control, functionality, and client tutorials.
Responsibilities:

The specialist will design customized golf simulator setups, develop 3D models, technical renders, and immersive walkthroughs, and assist with sales consultations.
  • Learn everything there is to know about the various golf simulator brands we carry, the related options and alternates, and the various intricacies of simulator software.
  • Meet with clients at their properties or our Atlanta office space.
  • Use SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, and similar programs for visualization.
  • Develop 3D models and renders focusing on golf simulator installations.
  • Create virtual tours showcasing our products and designs.
  • Design and deliver proposals for customized golf simulator solutions.
  • Collaborate with the install team to ensure designs meet client expectations.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for client consultations or group meetings.
  • Stay updated on the latest in golf technology and 3D visualization techniques.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • Experience in 3D rendering and visualization, with SketchUp, Revit, and AutoCAD skills.
  • Knowledge of golf and understanding of what makes a great virtual golf experience.
  • Excellent communication, team collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong aesthetic sense and a reduced focus on direct sales activities.
  • Great communication and connectability with people
  • General construction knowledge and ability to read plans and blue prints a huge plus
  • Construction and carpentry skills are a great skill set to have as well

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
