General Information

This is semi-skilled maintenance and repair work of a routine nature at a city golf course.

Jurisdiction Starting Yearly Salary
Mobile County $37,569

Requirements
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Some knowledge of the maintenance, repair and care of golf facilities and equipment; some knowledge of chemicals and fertilizers used in the development and control of golf course vegetation; ability to mix chemicals according to specifications using basic arithmetic computations; ability to follow oral and written instructions; ability to properly and safely operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, sweepers, chain saws, stump grinders, etc.; ability to keep simple records; ability to deal with the public courteously and tactfully; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public.

Special Requirement
Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.
