Duties
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure the highest standards of turf management, landscaping, and overall course appearance
- Develop and implement comprehensive lawn care and turf maintenance programs to promote healthy grass growth and optimal playability
- Oversee irrigation systems, ensuring efficient water use and proper functioning to maintain lush greens and fairways
- Coordinate construction projects such as bunker renovations, drainage improvements, or landscape enhancements with contractors and internal staff
- Manage tree care activities including pruning, removal, and health assessments to preserve safety and aesthetics
- Conduct regular inspections of the course to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks for team members
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards across all maintenance operations
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or golf course management with supervising responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of lawn care practices, horticulture principles, and turfgrass science
- Experience with irrigation systems installation, repair, and troubleshooting
- Skilled in construction projects related to outdoor environments such as bunker work or drainage systems
- Familiarity with tree care techniques including pruning and disease management
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment
- Knowledge of gardening practices, environmental sustainability efforts, and general maintenance procedures in outdoor settings
- Degree or Certificate in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- PA Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
