Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of golf course maintenance, including mowing, irrigation, and bunker management.
- Develop and implement annual and long-term agronomic plans to ensure optimal turf health and playability.
- Manage and train a team of groundskeepers, ensuring high productivity and adherence to safety standards.
- Control budgets for labor, equipment, supplies, and capital projects related to course maintenance.
- Implement effective pest, disease, and weed control strategies with an emphasis on sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and promote eco-friendly maintenance practices.
- Degree or Diploma in Horticulture, Agronomy, Turfgrass Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in golf course management.
- Extensive knowledge of turfgrass physiology, soil science, and integrated pest management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a maintenance team.
- Proficiency in budget management and operational planning.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to operate heavy machinery.
