Job roles and responsibilities:
To assist Assistant Golf Course Superintendent in monitoring and report on turf conditions for disease, insect, and weed associated problems
To assist in supervising a team of Course Operators and Course workers and keeping records of their daily work schedule, monitoring their performance, and providing guidance/ training when necessary
To assist Workshop Manager and his team in the usage and arrangement of training on the operation of machinery
To use the ERP system and to report usage of golf course maintenance spare parts
To assist Assistant Golf Course Superintendent in supervising contractors whilst on site to ensure all works/projects that are contracted out are completed in a safe and efficient manner
To recommend on planning of renovation/maintenance projects and installation of the turf management system
To work on shift during statuary holidays and are required to respond to emergency calls outside of working hours if needed to ensure that golf course maintenance requirements and operations are met
Requirement:
F.5 standard or above with fluent English. Cantonese preferred but not essential.
5 years’ experience in turf management and golf course maintenance.
Basic PC skill is required.
Holder of driving license 1,2
