**The Position:** The Event Coordinator is responsible to sell, organize and execute excellent non-member and member events
You will be responsible for every aspect of an event, from choosing venues to evaluating success afterwards
An event coordinator must be well-organized and competent in vendor management
Communication skills and attention to detail will set apart the best among the candidates

**Job Description:** 1
Markets and manages event planning for the club, works with members to secure agreements and coordinates activities associated with non-golf events including banquets, meetings and other social events

Ensures all agreements, paperwork and reporting associated with club events is properly completed and maintained
3
Coordinates event billing and ensures payment is prompt and accurate
4
Communicates event needs to other departments and coordinates needs
5
Attends, hosts, guides and coordinates member events and activities
6
Oversees execution of events and ensures costs fall within budget and cost analysis
7
Arranges set up and breakdown of the events and coordinates timing of activities
8
Follows up with members after events are complete to ensure customer satisfaction
9
Works events as needed

Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the club and the Company by being service- and solution-oriented, having positive interactions with all club staff and members/guests, and meeting established quality, service and safety expectations

Performs additional assignments per the direction of club or Company managers
12
Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required
13
Maintains accurate and up-to-date record of event bookings on appropriate tracking system; assists with booking outside events in the absence of the appropriate department head and provides information about all such bookings to the department head in a timely manner
14
May make calls to hosts of upcoming events at intervals of two months, one month, two weeks, one week and three days prior to the event at the request of the General Manager or appropriate department head; informs department heads of any relevant event details learned during such calls

Creates signs to promote upcoming member and non-member events and activities
**Professional Requirements:** 1.Working knowledge in event planning including proper time management, stress tolerance, dependability and problem solving

Ability to provide high level of customer service with attention to detail
Able to plan and coordinate events that provide quality experiences to members/guests
3
Ability to negotiate, organize, delegate, and prioritize work under pressure
4
Understanding of safe food and beverage handling procedures and process
Able to direct and maintain a safe and secure environment and operation
**Candidate Qualifications:** 1
High School Diploma or GED required 2
One year of previous experience in event planning, Food and Beverage operations or related experience
**Compensation, Schedule and Benefits:**
• $45,000 - $60,000 DOE with potential for bonus pay and tips
• Full-time, Monday-Friday (weekend availability), Day/Night shifts (flexible schedule)
