Royal Perth Golf Club was established in 1895 and moved to its current location in South Perth in 1908. It is the oldest golf club in the metropolitan area celebrating its 129th year in 2024.

Royal Perth Golf Club is widely recognised for its unique and challenging championship course, its quality and diverse service offering and significant stature within the Western Australian golfing community.

Role:

The Royal Perth Golf Club is seeking a passionate Golf Coordinator to join our high performing team at one of Western Australia’s premier private golf clubs.

Delivering a premium member experience consistently, as well as a strong focus on good organisation, teamwork, time management and planning is key to being successful in this role.

The position is Full Time with an expected roster of 38 hours per week. Rostered working days are expected to be Tuesday – Saturday however, flexibility across a 7-day roster is required based on Club Events and Major Fixtures across the club calendar.



General Duties are to:
  • Operate and administer golf booking system and timesheets.
  • Ability to respond in a friendly, timely and professional manner to all member, reciprocal and visitor queries promptly.
  • Administer and deliver internal club and external group events to the highest of quality including the processing and publishing of competition results, including Pennant Fixtures and Charity Days.
  • Liaise with the Administration Coordinator to publish weekly updates and results via the Club news platforms.
  • Fulfil administrative duties related to the RPGC Introduction to Golf Program.
Attributes / Competencies:
  • Passion for golf, customer service and achieving exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication, time and task management skills. Proven ability to work proactively within a fast paced environment and team who strive for exceptional results.
  • Experience and proficiency with MiClub Golf Management Software.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective and professional working relationships with other staff and members.
  • Proven golf operations skills, knowledge of the Rules of Golf and industry experience
  • Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate


Renumeration:

A competitive remuneration salary package will be set in line with industry standard and the experience of the successful candidate with additional employee benefits offered.
