In the role of Golf Cart Coordinator, the main goal is to oversee the inventory of golf carts, guaranteeing optimal functionality for exhibitors and staff. Your responsibilities include providing excellent customer service by managing the daily sign-in and sign-out procedures for carts, ensuring efficient transportation. Additionally, you will be responsible for installing signage, maintaining cleanliness by promptly removing garbage, and ensuring carts are regularly cleaned and fueled.
The duration of this role will be from July 14, 2024 – July 19, 2024.

Duties and responsibilities
- Overseeing the process of signing in and out rented and sponsored golf carts, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Ensuring proper labeling of golf carts upon arrival from the rental company for identification and tracking purposes.
- Renting out any available golf carts throughout the day to exhibitors or attendees as needed.
- Ensuring that all golf carts are signed back in each evening, verifying their return and condition.
- Removing keys from golf carts upon their return to prevent unauthorized use.
- Responsible for cleaning out each golf cart upon its return, maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Ensuring each golf cart is filled with fuel as needed to keep them operational throughout the day.
- Working with the golf cart rental company to troubleshoot any issues and coordinate repairs as necessary to keep the fleet in good working condition.
- Removing any signage from the golf carts after the event closes on the final day, restoring them to their original state.
- Assisting with the signing in and out of tools as part of the broader logistical responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
- Elevated level of organization.
- Ability to work in a multi-task fast paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Applicants are required to provide their own steel-toed boots for safety compliance.
- Shifts ranging between 8 to 12 hours.
- Overtime will be compensated in accordance with provincial law.
- Work environment will be outdoors, requiring exposure to all weather conditions.
