Position Summary
The Turf Maintenance Ambassador will be responsible for all aspects of the maintenance and upkeep of the Muskoka Bay golf course. This position includes a variety of landscape, grass cutting and sand trap maintenance using a variety of tools and equipment.

The Turf Maintenance Ambassador will be responsible for all aspects of the maintenance and upkeep of the Muskoka Bay golf course. This position includes a variety of landscape, grass cutting and sand trap maintenance using a variety of tools and equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Operates mowers and string trimmers in trimming greens, aprons, tees, around trees, fence lines, banks, and hillsides; edges cart paths; edges, rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
- Sets tee markers and cups on greens daily; maintains ball washers; replaces tee towels and flags when needed; removes debris; sands and seeds tee and drop area divots; and cleans flowerbeds.
- Maintains fuel and fluid levels for all types of equipment daily, reports equipment problems or failure to the equipment manager immediately.
- Returns all equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility; and cleans maintenance areas.
- Assists the golf maintenance team on other tasks as required.
- Available to work early mornings (5:30 am start), weekends and holidays
- Prior grounds maintenance experience is an asset
- Ability to perform in a fast paced, physically demanding environment
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must work well in team-oriented environment
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
