Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Girld Coach to lead our Girls golf team. The ideal candidate will have experience in golf techniques and a commitment to fostering a positive and encouraging environment at the high school level. This role would begin in early August with try outs and practices (several times per week) and golf competitions in the Chicago area through mid October. This is a part time seasonal role, with a one time stipend payment, paid at the end of the golf season. The stipend amount will be discussed during the initial interview conversation.

Responsibilities
- Ensure golf team members are prepared for competitions at the high school level.
- Conduct regular practice sessions, ensuring that all participants are engaged and motivated.
- Monitor the safety of all athletes during practice sessions and competitions.
- Provide constructive feedback to athletes to help them improve their performance.
- Work with the LPHS Athletic Dept to ensure athlete and coach compliance.
- Ensure strong communication with athletes, parents and school administration.
- Directly arrange practices for the team, with enough planning and notice for athletes and families.
- Work with LPHS Boosters and families for team fundraising.
- Previous experience in teaching physical education or sports coaching is preferred.
- Previous experience coaching a high school golf team is strongly preferred.
- A passion for golf and knowledge of the sport.
- Understanding of IHSA and CPL regulations and playing rules is strongly preferred.
- Ability and willingness to be available throughout the season for all tryouts, practices and competitions.
