Position: Golf Coach Description Five Iron Golf is an indoor golf and entertainment venue, with more than 50 locations around the world and more opening soon. Our main goal is to bring golf and entertainment together, and to make golf open and welcoming for everyone. Five Iron Golf is looking for a PGA certified Golf Coach. Your main job is to give high-quality golf lessons. You will report to the General Manager. Five Iron Golf is changing the way people enjoy golf. We combine our love of the game with the latest technology, such as TrackMan and Callaway Tour Fitting, to help every golfer, from beginners to experienced players, reach their best in a fun and welcoming place. We are more than a golf venue. We are a community that loves learning, improving and meeting people. Our coaches are at the heart of this community, bringing energy, knowledge and excitement to every lesson. We are looking for a Golf Coach who loves helping people improve their game and giving every guest a great experience. You will report to the General Manager and build long-term relationships with our members and guests. You will mix teaching with time on the floor, working closely with our Social and Performance teams to tell golfers about lessons, club fittings and memberships. As you build your client base and reach your targets, you will spend more of your time teaching, with support from our Coach Development Program. Your main responsibilities include (but are not limited to): ● Give high-quality golf lessons to individuals and groups, for players of all levels ● Use TrackMan and other Five Iron technology to give personal, data-based coaching and custom club fittings with Callaway Tour Fitting ● Speak with guests during Golf Experience time and tell them about lessons, swing checks, club fittings and memberships ● Build and keep a loyal group of students by giving them friendly, memorable lessons that help them improve ● Represent Five Iron Golf at corporate events with fun, high-energy golf sessions ● Keep a regular lesson schedule that meets your targets ● Use social media to promote your coaching and the Five Iron brand ● Run junior clinics and support community programmes to grow the game ● Follow up with students after swing checks so they book more lessons, and meet your key targets (KPIs) ● Spend time on the floor as a golf expert, helping members get more from their visit ● Take part in ongoing training and certificate programmes to keep improving your coaching Required Qualifications: ● At least 5 years of golf coaching experience, with a strong record of helping players of all levels improve ● Good understanding of the golf swing, ball flight and launch monitor data, and able to turn this into simple, practical lessons ● Good at video analysis and modern golf technology, including performance tracking and club fitting systems ● Excellent communication skills, and able to explain things clearly and motivate golfers of all levels ● Energetic and friendly, with a passion for fun, welcoming group lessons ● Always keen to improve, and happy to guide and support other coaches ● A university degree (preferred) ● PGA or LPGA membership, or a PGM qualification, is required. ● Fluent English required; Arabic is a plus What we offer: ● Extra time off to play in tournaments, if you still want to compete ● Clear career growth path ● Discounted meals while working ● Free practice at Five Iron Golf locations If you love golf, enjoy a social and modern environment, and like helping people play their best, Five Iron Golf is the place for you.
