Job Description:
The Golf Coach is responsible to carry forward the creative and pioneering golf and sports management programme at SISA. The role of golf coach, would suit an experienced educator who can coach students in golf so they might achieve a high level of skills as well as an appreciation for sportsmanship. Job Description:
The Golf Coach is responsible to carry forward the creative and pioneering golf and sports management programme at SISA. The role of golf coach, would suit an experienced educator who can coach students in golf so they might achieve a high level of skills as well as an appreciation for sportsmanship. The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate and maintain a sound knowledge of the sports, the policies and procedures.
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons, instructs and demonstrates skill sets and techniques necessary for individual and team achievement in the sport
- Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge students
- Develop appropriate practice plans and schedules, execute all team practices and games
- Manage the annual competition schedule, assist students in signing up for competitions locally, domestically and internationally
- Make recommendations regarding the students' university progression plans
- Initiate, support and promote cross-curricular and cross-disciplinary collaborations.
- Cooperate fully and professionally in school activities.
Requirement:
- Capable of delivering the programme entirely in English
- Bachelor Degree (or higher). Coaching experience at the high school or club level, as well as a background as a competitive player, is recommended.
- Have clear understanding of university entry requirements
- Holder of relevant certificates is preferred
- Ideal candidate should demonstrate strong team spirit, solid subject knowledge, as well as great enthusiasm for golf coaching
- Only candidates under 58 years old would be eligible for visa purpose
