Gainsborough Greens Golf Club Coaching Position
Gainsborough Greens Golf Club is looking for a fulltime coach to create and implement coaching programs to its current customers and future customers.
Gainsborough Greens is located at Pimpama on the Northern end of the Gold Coast. It is approximately 30 min from Surfers Paradies and 40 minutes from Brisbane. It is an 18 hole golf course that was first established in 1990. The club has a modern clubhouse with an excellent driving range, chipping green and practice putting green for coaching. The course is located in a fast growing region with lots of growth potential.
The successful applicant will have a passion for golf and the coaching of both adults and children. It is expected this position will be made up of coaching children 60% of the time. The position will require the following from the successful applicant.

Expected Duties
- Ability to teach / coach children and provide analysis of performance planning
- Directing game strategies, and playing games that are fun and interactive.
- Showing the kids and client the benefits of warming up and stretching conducting and managing practice sessions.
- Keeping classes running on time.
- Setting up and packing up equipment before and after classes
- Arranging entries into sporting competitions promoting sports and skills development, and overseeing the participation of young people in sport.
- Passion for sports and coaching
- 2-3 years experience in coaching children school ages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm and energy to engage with children and adults of all ages
- Reliable and punctual
- Relevant coaching certifications (preferred but not required).
