The Role
This hands-on position, reporting to the Course Superintendent, involves all aspects of golf course maintenance and presentation, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality playing surfaces for members and guests year-round.
Duties & Responsibilities
Preparing the course for daily play, including greens, tees and fairways
Operating a variety of turf maintenance equipment and machinery
Monitoring and maintaining irrigation systems
Assisting with spraying, fertiliser applications and general turf care programs
Contributing to course improvement projects and renovations
Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
Flexibility to work weekend and public holidays as required
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Certificate III in Sports Turf Management or equivalent qualification
Previous experience working on a golf course or sports turf environment
Good knowledge of turf maintenance practices and irrigation systems
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
The ability to work effectively within a team and independently
Chemical accreditation (preferred but not essential)
A current driver’s license
