Golf Cashier Team Leader Qualifications




Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or any four-year Business-related course.
Work Experience
  • At least 1–2 years of experience as a Cashier.
  • Experience in a golf club, country club, hotel, or hospitality operation is an advantage.

Objectives and Reporting Relationship
  • Reports directly to the Head Cashier and coordinates with the Finance Manager on all cashiering-related matters.
  • Ensure the accurate receipt, recording, and processing of payments from members and guests.
  • Minimize cash shortages, overages, and fraudulent transactions by adhering to established controls.
  • Deliver efficient, accurate, and professional customer service to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.



Job Summary

The Golf Cashier Team Leader serves as the Club's frontline cashier responsible for receiving and processing payments from members and guests. The position ensures accurate recording of transactions, safeguards company funds, supervises golf cashier operations, and maintains high standards of customer service in accordance with Mount Malarayat Golf and Country Club, Inc.'s policies and procedures.




General Responsibilities
  • Deliver efficient, accurate, and courteous customer service.
  • Safeguard the company's cash collections and other financial assets.
  • Ensure cash balances are complete and accurate at all times.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all collections and transactions.
  • Supervise the daily operations of the Golf Cashier area.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities

A. Cash and Collection Management
  • Report to work on time with complete uniform and proper grooming.
  • Perform daily cashiering functions efficiently and accurately.
  • Receive payments for:
  • Passport fees
  • Monthly membership dues
  • Statement of Account (SOA)
  • Food and Beverage (F&B) charges
  • Room charges
  • Sports facility charges
  • Utility payments
  • Other applicable club charges
  • Ensure all charge forms are properly signed by the member before processing.
  • Segregate golf passports according to category:
  • Members
  • Tournament participants
  • Korean/AVT golfers
  • Others
  • Issue Official Receipts (OR) for all payments received.
  • Safeguard company funds, collections, and accountable forms.
  • Maintain the assigned change fund and ensure it remains intact.
  • Secure all daily collections until turnover.
  • Prepare and submit the following reports:
  • Daily Golf Cart Remittance Report
  • Monthly Golf Cart Remittance Report
  • Daily Revenue Report
  • Daily Headcount Report
  • Render overtime work when required by operational needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier workstation.
  • Immediately report any irregularities, discrepancies, or suspected malpractice to the Head Cashier.
  • Supervise and monitor the daily operations and performance of Golf Cashiers.
  • Address cashiering and collection concerns promptly and escalate issues to the Head Cashier or Finance Officer when necessary.
  • Coordinate closely with Golf Cashier Team Leader II and the Golf Registration Section to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
B. Administrative Responsibilities
  • Maintain sufficient stocks of Official Receipts (ORs), credit card slips, and other cashiering forms.
  • Properly file and organize:
  • Passports
  • Official Receipts
  • Sales Invoices
  • Charge Forms
  • Credit Card Slips
  • Collection Documents
  • Other accounting records
  • Perform other administrative and accounting tasks assigned by management.
