Key Responsibilities
Because Carts4You operates a continuous golf car rental and maintenance service, the Golf Car Preventive Maintenance Technician is required to participate in physical operational tasks as needed to ensure uninterrupted service and customer safety. Therefore, this position requires regular physical activity as an essential function of the job. The Golf Car Preventive Maintenance Technician must be able to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, lifting, and handling golf cars or related equipment as part of daily operational needs.
These physical requirements are directly tied to ensuring the safety, readiness, and availability of our customers golf cars, which are essential business functions of Carts4You.
These physical requirements are essential because the operations depend on safety inspections, and clean and operational golf cars at all times. Failure to perform these tasks directly impacts customer safety, service quality, and the continuity of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive inspections on golf carts, including:
- Suspension, brakes, and alignment
- Tire pressure and tread inspection
- Lights, horn, and overall operating condition
- Battery performance, condition and water level verification
- Driving quality and handling assessment
- Perform washing and interior cleaning of golf carts and autos.
- Complete assigned maintenance tasks on schedule and document work performed.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members on service status and follow-ups.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to identify issues with brakes, suspensions, and alignments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect positively with others.
- Passion for excellence and a can-do, uplifting attitude that motivates the team.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Work outdoors as required under varying weather conditions.
- Bilingual: English and Spanish required.
- Valid Puerto Rico driver’s license required.
- Experience working with golf carts, small vehicles, or automotive maintenance is a plus.
- Previous preventive maintenance or detailing experience preferred.

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally and to push, pull, or move golf cars as needed to maintain fleet operations.
- Ability to perform manual tasks such as washing, inspecting, charging, refueling, or repositioning golf cars.
- Regular exposure to outdoor environmental conditions (heat, rain, humidity) typical of Dorado operations.
- Ability to remain on feet, walk the premises and go up & down stairs for extended periods during shift hours.
