Responsibilities
- Assist golfers by carrying their bags and providing strategic advice on club selection and course navigation
- Maintain course etiquette and ensure the safety of all players during rounds
- Offer excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously
- Manage pace of play to keep rounds moving smoothly and efficiently
- Provide information about the course layout, hazards, and local rules to enhance the golfing experience
- Support event management activities for tournaments or group outings held at the course
- Handle minor conflicts or disputes with professionalism, ensuring a positive atmosphere for all players
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles is highly desirable
- Lifeguard experience or familiarity with safety protocols is a plus, demonstrating your ability to manage emergencies calmly
- Experience working with children or in entertainment settings like theater or public speaking enhances your ability to engage diverse guests
- Skills in conflict management, cash handling, or food service contribute to well-rounded guest interactions
- Knowledge of event management and hospitality operations will help you excel in dynamic golf course environments
- Strong communication skills are essential for providing clear guidance and fostering guest satisfaction
