Painted Dunes Golf Course is looking for individuals to join our Food and Beverage team.

Summary:

The Snack Bar Cook/Server is a member of the food and beverage team. This individual prepares and serves food and beverages in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.

Essential job functions:

• Prep and cook food ordered by golfers (i.e. burgers, hot dogs, taco plates, burritos, etc.)
• Stock all necessary items in the snack bar and kitchen area.
• Maintain and ensure cleanliness of snack bar and kitchen area.
• Keep all product organized and stock.
• Accept and prepare food orders from customers
• Manage all payments and cash.
• Balance cash drawer at end of the shift.
• Complete assigned side-work and prep-work.
• Perform beverage service (non-alcoholic and alcoholic)
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned by Management.

Requirements

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk and crouch
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.

Qualifications:

• TABC required alcohol seller server certification
• Texas Food handlers certification required (within 30 days of hiring)
• Requires ability to frequently lift/move up to 30lbs.
• Must be 18 years of age per TABC requirements for alcohol service
• Valid current driver's license

Compensation/Benefits:

• Base pay plus tips ($8.25-$10.00, plus tips)
• One (1) Complimentary meal and NA Beverages while working
• Complimentary play on the course for staff member – during permitted times.
• FLEXIBLE schedule
• Extra evening hours available during Banquet events with increased wages.
