*Job Summary* Join our vibrant golf course community as a Pro Shop Attendant, where you will be the friendly face welcoming guests and ensuring they have an exceptional experience. This dynamic role combines customer service, retail management, and outdoor engagement, allowing you to showcase your enthusiasm for golf and hospitality. You will manage sales transactions, assist with event coordination, and uphold safety protocols to create a fun, safe, and memorable environment for all visitors. Whether assisting players on the course or supporting special events, your energy and professionalism will help elevate our guests’ experience every day. *Responsibilities* * Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their visit. * Process cash, credit card, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions accurately and efficiently. * Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the pro shop and surrounding areas. * Assist with retail sales of golf equipment, apparel, accessories, and other merchandise. * Support event management activities including tournaments, outings, and special functions. * Manage guest inquiries related to tee times, course rules, and event details with clarity and enthusiasm. * Adhere strictly to safety protocols during outdoor work activities such as heavy lifting or manual handling. * Provide first aid or CPR when necessary to ensure guest safety at all times. * Handle conflict management professionally by resolving guest concerns promptly and courteously. * Support the setup and breakdown of events at the venue while ensuring compliance with safety standards. * Assist in managing guest services during busy periods or special events to ensure smooth operations. *Skills* * Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles within hospitality or outdoor venues. * Strong communication skills with public speaking ability to engage guests confidently. * Experience working with children or in family-friendly environments is a plus. * Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures for efficient transactions. * Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and effectively. * Familiarity with event management processes, especially in outdoor or resort settings. * Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management. * Certification in first aid or CPR is highly desirable for guest safety assurance. * Experience in conflict management to handle guest concerns diplomatically. * Background in outdoor work environments such as golf courses or resort settings preferred. * Lifeguard experience or theater experience can be advantageous for engaging with diverse audiences.
