Education and/or Experience

• High School or equivalent
• Golf course-related experience or training preferred
• PGA Level 1 encouraged to apply

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Excellent verbal communication skills required
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Club employees, members and guests
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Required Technical / Other Skills / Licenses –

• Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules and regulations
• Must be guest oriented and have good public relations skills
• Appearance – Must present a clean and neat appearance at all times. Incumbent will dress according to golf etiquette.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays

Essential Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include assisting with daily golf shop operations. These may include but are not limited to:

• Operation of tee sheet on the computer to make tee times for member and guest groups.
• Daily merchandise sales.
• Operation of the pro shop during tournaments.
• Assisting coordination of golf operations between pro shop and outside member services personnel.
• Organization and display of merchandise.
• Assisting the Professional staff with other duties in and around the pro shop.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
