Escena Golf Club is an award-winning, Nicklaus Design golf course in a prime Palm Springs location. Our golf shop and restaurant were fully renovated recently and we are a top destination for golfers & diners. We are looking for energetic, outgoing, service-oriented associates to be a part of our golf operations team. No prior golf experience is required; we will provide all the training and support you need. The Golf Shop Attendant utilizes strong communication, and interpersonal skills to perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work in the operations of the golf shop, and/or outside providing assistance to golfers with bag handling, golf cart assistance or starting. This individual will assist the Golf Shop Manager and Director of Golf with the day-to-day golf operations in the following areas: *Duties* - Greet guests warmly and assist them with any inquiries related to their visit. - Maintain the cleanliness and organization of front desk and retail area, ensuring merchandise is neatly displayed and grab-and-go food & beverage items are in stock. - Book tee times, and handle inquiries relating to tee times that may already be booked. - Opening and closing of the golf shop. - Identify opportunities for guests to enjoy the restaurant, merchandise, and our Escena Club membership program. - Address any guest concerns or conflicts in a professional manner, ensuring a satisfactory resolution. - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during events or busy periods. - Provide support during special events, enhancing guest experiences through excellent service. *Skills* - Strong customer service skills to effectively engage with guests and address their needs. - Ability to handle guest concerns calmly and professionally. - Experience in events management is beneficial for assisting during special occasions. - Guest services experience is essential for providing top-notch assistance to visitors. The Golf Shop Attendant position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing outstanding service while ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
