*Job Summary* Join our vibrant team as a Golf Shop Attendant, where you will be the welcoming face of our golf course retail experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine outdoor work with exceptional customer service, ensuring every guest has a memorable visit. You will manage retail sales, assist with event operations, and uphold safety protocols to create a fun, safe, and efficient environment for all visitors. Your energetic attitude and attention to detail will help deliver an outstanding experience for golfers and guests alike. *Responsibilities* * Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit * Manage retail sales by processing cash, credit card transactions, and operating POS (Point of Sale) systems * Assist with organizing and supporting golf events, tournaments, and special functions * Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the golf shop and surrounding areas * Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and equipment rentals efficiently and professionally * Ensure safety protocols are followed during outdoor activities, including manual handling and heavy lifting when necessary * Support food service operations if applicable, including taking orders and serving refreshments *Requirements* * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles preferred * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently in public speaking situations * Experience working outdoors or in outdoor event venues is highly desirable * Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems * Knowledge of safety protocols including first aid, CPR certification, and lifeguard experience is a plus * Demonstrated ability to manage conflict effectively and resolve guest concerns positively * Physical stamina to perform manual handling tasks, heavy lifting, and outdoor work for extended periods * Experience working with children or in hospitality environments is advantageous * Familiarity with event management or theater experience can enhance guest interactions Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional outdoor experiences.
