Job Overview
Working Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, hours will fluctuate as based on business operations.
Sundays, Mondays, Holidays, and other hours as needed.
Duties: The Outside Services Attendant for Cart Barn follows the daily activities of all Cart Barn operations in accordance with the philosophy, policy, procedures and expectations of Rancho Viejo Resort & Country Club (“RVRCC”) working with assets and the operations to ensure the highest level of service to members and guests.
Primary Duties:
1. Executing flawlessly all operational activities of the Cart Barn, upholding processes and standards.
2. Ensures that all members and visitors encountered are greeted and welcomed in a professional, genuine, and courteous manner.
3. Ensures employee uniform policy is adhered to at all times; uniforms and name tags are always worn and kept in proper condition and readily available to employees.
4. Answers questions clearly and promptly and communicates information in a pleasant and professional manner.
5. Actively maintains the Cart Barn, ensuring a well-organized, cleaned, fully charged fleet that is professionally cleaned/prepared and delivered to the Pro Shop, ready for use by our members and their guests.
6. Works with the Cart Barn Manager, Pro Shop Manager, General Manager and Club Directors in keeping accountable for the security and management of Cart Barn and all Cart Barn assets.
7. Completes all assigned tasks; opening and closing duties, other projects as assigned.
8. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
Previous Experience working on a golf course or driving golf carts is preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certifications:
Driver’s license required.
Machinery/Tools/Equipment:
Should be proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications; copier/fax machine; general office equipment; restaurant and bar equipment; driving range equipment, i.e., picker, golf carts; comfortable driving a golf cart; familiar with golf clubs and their use.
Environmental/Physical Working Conditions:
May spend hours standing/walking during the course of the day.
Extremes of temperature; cold (winter/AC), hot (summer/kitchen/cart barn/pool).
May work in mostly dry, but sometimes wet, conditions (i.e., Total Golf areas, pool areas, cart barn, weather events)
May work with extremes of noise, quiet in an office space while noisy (music/band/DJ/other) during an event or larger crowds and activities.
Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, and reach; climb step stool or ladder.
Should be able to manipulate devices/product/equipment through use of hands/fingers.
Should be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
