Magnolia Point Golf & Country Club is seeking a dependable, personable, and professional individual to join our Golf Operations team as a *Pro Shop Attendant / Starter / Ranger*. This position is an excellent opportunity for retirees, military veterans, golf enthusiasts, and individuals seeking an enjoyable part-time position in a welcoming country club environment. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and understands the importance of creating a positive experience for our members and guests. *Primary Responsibilities* *Pro Shop Operations* * Greet and assist members and guests with professionalism and courtesy. * Check in golfers, manage tee times, and process transactions. * Answer phone calls and assist with golf reservations and inquiries. * Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Pro Shop. * Assist with golf tournaments, outings, and daily operations. *Starter Responsibilities* * Welcome golfers and coordinate tee times at the first tee. * Ensure groups begin their rounds in an organized and timely manner. * Communicate course policies, golf etiquette, and pace-of-play expectations. * Work closely with Pro Shop personnel to maintain an efficient flow of play. *Ranger Responsibilities* * Monitor pace of play and assist golfers throughout the course. * Promote proper golf etiquette and adherence to club policies. * Address pace-of-play concerns in a respectful and professional manner. * Assist members and guests with questions or concerns. * Report course conditions or operational concerns to management. *Ideal Candidate* We are particularly interested in individuals who demonstrate: * A strong sense of responsibility, dependability, and punctuality. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * A friendly, patient, and professional demeanor. * An appreciation for traditional golf etiquette and customer service. * The ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. * A willingness to assist wherever needed to support the golf operation. * Basic computer skills and the ability to learn golf reservation software. Previous golf course experience is preferred but not required.
