*Job Overview* Join our vibrant golf course team as a Golf Shop Attendant, where you'll be the friendly face that enhances every golfer’s experience. In this dynamic role, you'll manage retail operations within the golf shop, assist customers with product selections, and ensure smooth daily operations. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help create a welcoming environment for all visitors. Whether handling sales, stocking merchandise, or providing product demos, your energy will drive the success of our shop and elevate our guests’ enjoyment on the course. *Responsibilities* * Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit * Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties * Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and organizing retail displays to maximize product visibility * Conduct product demos to showcase golf equipment, apparel, and accessories to customers * Promote upselling opportunities to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction * Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or taking reservations via phone * Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed * Ensure the golf shop remains clean, organized, and inviting at all times *Experience* * Prior retail sales experience preferred, especially in a customer-focused environment such as grocery stores or specialty shops * Supervising experience is a plus; ability to lead by example and assist team members effectively * Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management * Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse guests * Experience in merchandising, product demos, or upselling techniques to boost sales performance * Knowledge of golf equipment or sporting goods is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential * Ability to handle cash accurately and maintain professional phone etiquette at all times Join us in creating memorable experiences on the course while developing your skills in retail operations!
