University Park Country Club in University Park, FL is seeking a Golf Bag & Cart Attendant to join our team. Our objective is to provide our many members and guests with an enjoyable golf-play experience.
UPCC has a stellar reputation and is a that serves approximately 1200 residents in 32 communities, as well as outside members. If you enjoy working in a fast-pace, team environment that strives for excellence in customer service, this is the opportunity for you.
Our 27- hole golf course is rated the #1 Golf Course in the Sarasota County area. There are approximately 83,000 rounds of golf played each year.
Hourly Wage plus tips; free golf privileges.
We have 2 part-time positions available, you must be available one of the following shifts:
Monday and Tuesday - 1:00 pm until close.
Saturday and Sunday - 1:00 pm until close.
Position Responsibilities:
· Greets and assists guests in a friendly and professional manner.
· Provides exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all members and guests.
· Assists members and guests with golf bags/items from car to cart and vice versa.
· Brings carts from cart shelter to cart staging area.
· Removes golf bags from storage area and loads golf bags onto golf carts.
· Removes bags from carts and returns bags to assigned rack in Bag Storage Locker when applicable.
· Maintains cleanliness and organization of carts and the cart storage areas.
· After golf play, removes items from carts; washes carts with cleaner; parks carts in shelter.
· Monitors and manages cart inventory levels.
· Supports Golf Events when requested.
· Supports the driving range by retrieving golf balls/drives equipment, removing golf balls from baskets, and rinsing balls. Returns golf balls to a designated area.
· Sets up pyramids at hole #1 for golf play.
· Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of members, guests, and staff.
· Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
· Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
· Must be able to work outdoors in a warm climate and handle varying weather conditions.
Qualifications:
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
· Strong problem-solving and conflict management abilities.
· Flexibility to work early evenings (daylight period), weekends, and holidays as required.
