Pelican Point Golf Club located in Gonzales, Louisiana is hiring Golf Cart Attendants.
The Golf Cart Attendant works closely with our Golf Professionals on the outside golf operations to provide an exceptional service to members and guests. Primary responsibility falls on service to members, assisting players with bags, cart cleanliness, and maintaining the driving range. The Golf Attendant must have excellent listening skills and an eagerness to provide excellent customer service. Must be flexible in meeting the varying scheduling needs of the golf course. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work with minimal supervision and be able to perform a flexible range of tasks to provide the best customer service possible.
Qualifications
Good work ethic, responsible, courteous, and good communication skills. Must have the ability to work without close supervision, minimum age of 16, and a valid drivers license. Must possess a positive attitude and a sense of pride and accomplishment with one’s work.
Work Schedule
Employees must have flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Benefits
$8.00-$12.00 an hour based on experience – D.O.E

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
Medium work requires frequent (67% - 100%) walking, standing, grasping, and reaching.
Requires ability to perform a variety of manual labor tasks that will require some strenuous physical efforts, such as carrying, pushing, pulling, or occasionally moving objects weighting in excess of 30 pounds.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Must be effective in listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by guests and coworkers.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed indoors and outdoors with exposure to weather.
