*Job Summary* Looking for a professional, reliable individual that is able to work during the week and weekends in a Golf Pro Shop as well as occasionally cleaning carts. Must be able to interact with customers (in person and on the phone), proficient at running a register/handling cash and being a good team members. As mentioned the ability to work weekends is a must. Realizing that golf is now in its "off season" most of the work day will be a range of 8-5:30. In addition there will also be the occasional need to clean golf carts outside to help out. References will be required and those along with a background check will be conducted for each candidate. As a Golf Shop/Cart Attendant, you’ll help guests enjoy a smooth, welcoming day on the course. You’ll support golf shop sales, prepare and maintain carts, assist with events, and answer guest questions with energy and care. The role combines hospitality, retail, outdoor work, and hands-on service. Your impact: By keeping carts ready and providing clear, friendly assistance, you help golfers and event guests feel welcome and stay safe. *Responsibilities* * Welcome guests, provide guest services, answer questions, and help resolve concerns using sound conflict management. * Support retail sales, operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, process cash transactions, and complete basic math accurately. * Prepare, clean, and stage golf carts; follow safety protocols and use proper manual handling when moving equipment or performing heavy lifting. * Assist with event setup and coordination, share directions or announcements, and support food service when needed. * Keep shop and cart areas orderly, report hazards, and provide attentive service to guests of different ages. *Qualifications* * Customer service, hospitality, cash handling, and retail sales experience are useful; experience with POS systems is preferred. * Able to work outdoors and perform manual handling and heavy lifting safely. * First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) knowledge or certification is helpful. * Event management, event venue, resort, theater, food service, or outdoor work experience is a plus. * Experience working with children, lifeguard experience, public speaking, basic math, and safety protocol adherence are valued. Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week Work Location: In person
