In this role, you’ll assist golfers with enquiries, manage tee times, sell merchandise, and attend to operations of the pro shop and golf course. Apply today and tee up your next great opportunity!
A snapshot of your new role:
- Greeting and assisting golfers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operating the pro shop, including merchandise sales, assisting customers in selecting golf equipment and apparel, and ensuring the store is organised, stocked, and visually appealing
- Providing information on golf course operations, bookings, policies, rates, social clubs and lessons
- Efficiently administering tee time and golf cart bookings and reservations
- Attending to daily operation of the golf course, including practice facilities and driving range
- Golf course marshalling to manage the pace of play and ensure an enjoyable experience for all
Who we’re looking for:
- Knowledge of the sport, golf course rules and golf products, apparel and accessories
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to assist in golf product and apparel sales
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems, online bookings and payments
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact confidently with a range of stakeholders
- Collaborative and team-orientated approach
- Availability to work a seven day roster including early morning, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- A full-time, permanent position available in a beautiful golf course! 38 hours a week, including early mornings, evenings and weekends over a seven day roster
- $33.28 per hour (depending on age) + super + penalties for weekends and public holidays
- 17.5% paid Annual Leave Loading for when you take annual leave
